Booking questions
Does a request charge my card?+
No. A request sends your trip details to the operator for confirmation. Payment starts after a confirmed booking presents an enabled payment option.
Why does the operator need to confirm?+
Multi-day trips depend on guides, rooms, vehicles, permits, domestic transport, park access, and supplier space. Confirmation protects both sides from selling unavailable services.
How long does confirmation take?+
Timing depends on the operator and suppliers. The tour page states the expected confirmation window, while your conversation records updates.
What does From pricing mean?+
From pricing shows the lowest published per-person value under stated assumptions. Your party size, date, room plan, permits, and requested changes determine the confirmed total.
How do promotion codes work?+
Enter an active code when requesting a priced tour. TourPora validates dates, tour eligibility, currency, minimum value, usage limits, and the discount cap before saving the booking total.
What if the date is unavailable?+
The operator may decline the request or suggest nearby dates, a private departure, a different route, or a custom quote. No payment should occur before acceptance.
Where do I find payment receipts?+
Paid transactions show in your booking and payment pages. Each confirmed payment has a printable receipt with the provider reference and refund history.
Does TourPora sell instant bookings?+
Not during the initial launch. TourPora uses custom quotes and request-to-book while inventory, supplier confirmation, and cancellation workflows mature.
What happens after operator confirmation?+
Your booking changes to confirmed, the payable balance becomes available, and you receive a voucher after the required booking conditions are met.
